Expert laser eye surgery

Modern laser eye surgery is quick, painless and remarkably safe. In under 15 minutes per eye, it can change your life.

Life without glasses

A life free from glasses & contact lenses

LASIK and advanced laser correction reshape the cornea to correct short-sightedness, long-sightedness and astigmatism. For the right candidate, it’s a one-off, permanent solution that ends the daily hassle of glasses and contacts.

Mr Panthagani offers LASIK, LASEK and PRK, and will recommend the technique that best suits your eyes and lifestyle — not a one-size-fits-all answer.

Am I a candidate?

Good candidates are typically aged 21 or over, have a stable prescription (no significant change for at least a year), and have healthy corneas with adequate thickness. Certain medical conditions and pregnancy can temporarily rule out surgery.

The only way to know for sure is a proper consultation with detailed corneal mapping. Our self-assessment quiz is a quick, honest first step.

Frequently asked questions

Does it hurt?
No. The eye is numbed with drops and most patients feel only mild pressure during the procedure itself. Some gritty discomfort for a few hours afterwards is normal.
How fast is recovery?
Most LASIK patients see well the following morning and return to work the next day. LASEK and PRK take longer (a week or two for vision to settle).
Will I ever need glasses again?
Laser surgery corrects your current prescription. It doesn't stop your eyes ageing — reading glasses may still become necessary in your 40s or 50s. We'll discuss this honestly at consultation.
Is it safe?
Modern laser surgery is one of the most rigorously studied procedures in medicine. Serious complications are rare. We will only recommend surgery if we're confident it's safe and right for you.
