Two quick tests you can take right now.

Informal screening tools, not a diagnosis. If anything looks off, come and see us — we'll take it from there properly.

Before you begin

A quick word about these tests.

These are informal screening tools, not medical diagnostics. They run on your own screen, at your own distance, under your own lighting — all of which vary. If a test suggests something might be off, the right next step is a full consultation in clinic. If every test says you're fine, keep your regular check-ups anyway.

  1. I 2 min

    Visual acuity

A calibrated Snellen chart. Calibrate your screen once with a credit card, then read the rows aloud from arm's length.

    Start the acuity test
  2. II 1 min / eye

    Astigmatism

A radial sunburst pattern. With one eye closed, check whether any of the lines look noticeably darker or sharper than the others.

    Start the astigmatism test

Results are shown only to you — nothing is stored on our servers. The recommendation at the end is based on published screening thresholds and is never a substitute for a clinical examination.
