We offer the full range of modern cataract surgery — from straightforward monofocal-lens procedures to fully laser-assisted surgery with premium multifocal, toric or EDOF intraocular lenses.

Standard cataract surgery restores clear distance vision. Premium surgery can additionally correct astigmatism, restore reading vision, and reduce or eliminate your dependence on glasses.

What the day looks like

Cataract surgery takes 15–20 minutes per eye and is performed under local anaesthetic — you’ll be awake but comfortable throughout. Most patients are home within a couple of hours and see a clear improvement in vision the next day.

We’ll see you the following day for your first post-operative check, then again at a week and a month. Jesse performs every consultation, procedure and follow-up personally.

Frequently asked questions

What's the difference between standard and premium cataract surgery?

Standard surgery uses a monofocal lens that sharpens distance vision — you'll still likely need reading glasses. Premium surgery uses laser assistance and a lens designed to give you a broader range of vision, potentially glasses-free.

Can I have both eyes done on the same day?

We typically operate on one eye at a time with a week or two between, to ensure each eye heals well. Some patients prefer a longer gap — we'll tailor the schedule to you.

How soon can I drive?

Most patients are safely driving within a few days to a week. We'll formally confirm at your follow-up.
